As reported by Telemundo, a group of 21 Democratic senators, including Bernie Sanders, sent a letter to Biden asking for a recurring stimulus payment for people to be included in his plan.
In addition, they asked him in his economic plan to renew federal unemployment insurance.
Members of the Federal House of Representatives had sent a similar letter to the president in March.
However, Biden has yet to comment at a time when his administration appears to be focusing on the $ 2 trillion infrastructure plan, immigration policy and gun control.
