Colorado to expand eligibility for COVID-19 vaccinations

DENVER (AP) – Colorado state officials say additional frontline workers and people with multiple chronic health conditions could become eligible for COVID-19 vaccines by the end of next week.

The Denver Post reported Tuesday that the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment confirmed that the state expects to move to the next phase of its vaccination plan on or around March 5, but did not provide details on when. everyone in the phase will be eligible.

The new phase will include front-line workers from several industries, including the US Postal Service, grocery stores and public transportation.

It would also extend to people with two or more high-risk health conditions, including cancer, diabetes and Down syndrome.
