The Dominican National Brewery (CDN) and the Art Chroniclers Association (Acroarte) have announced that Color Vision, channel 9, will be the official medium that will broadcast the Soberano awards.
The information was provided during a press conference in which Cándida Hernández, marketing director of Cervecería; Zumaya Cordero of the Caribbean Group; René Brea, producer of the award; Domingo Bermúdez, President of Color Vision and Alexis Beltré, President of Acroarte.
The awards are reactivated after the institution went through an institutional crisis and the passage of the Covid-19 pandemic.
While Zumaya Cordero announced that this year the Soberano Awards will have the largest number of international artists, although our artists will also be present.
The award will take place in June in a mixed format and will have the National Theater as the main stage in René Brea’s artistic production.
This year, for the first time, the award will include the executive production of Caribbean Media World by Cervecería Nacional Dominicana. “With Cervecería’s vision and our experience in the entertainment area, we will present a fresh, dynamic and different award depending on the new times, in which we have the creative production of Rene Brea,” said Zumaya Cordero, General Manager of the Caribbean.
In 2020, the awards were not given due to the unexpected outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. For this year, Cervecería Nacional Dominicana reaffirms its commitment to continue to support and promote the growth of the entertainment industry by sponsoring the Soberano Awards as a platform that activates Creole ingenuity and offers the first opportunities after the pandemic.
