Claudia Conway returns to “American Idol” and Kellyanne Conway sings

America received the two happinesses she never knew she wanted in Sunday’s “American Idol.”

Claudia Conway returned to Hollywood Week after a shaky audition, and her mother, former Trump White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, came in with an impromptu “Girl On Fire” chorus.

The 16-year-old Conway reappeared in new dark locks and decided to take Judge Katy Perry’s advice to “calm the storm” around her. Conway gained popularity on TikTok amid a controversial relationship with her mother, who left the White House last summer to focus on her family. Her father, lawyer George Conway of the anti-Trump Lincoln project, also continued to discontinue his work. (He accompanied Claudia to the audition in February.)

This time, the teenager sang a useful version of “River” by Bishop Briggs and waited for her fate in a series of other hopes. Perry informed them that they had all advanced, and Kellyanne Conway shouted, “Claudia, what’s up!”

Backstage, Conway hugged his daughter and sang, “This girl is on fire, this girl is on fire.”

Somewhere, Alicia Keys’ ears are bleeding.
