Church Chain Launches Pechu Criollo, New Chicken Sandwich Served in Water Pan

The Church’s restaurant chain announces that 2021 will begin with the launch of the new Pechu Criollo sandwich.

Starting today, the new sandwich can be found in over 110 chain restaurants in Puerto Rico. Pechu Criollo is made with the new Creole water bread, which is made on the island by the Mi Pan company.

The sandwich is a real breast fillet, marinated and baked at every restaurant just before serving it to the customer and also has romaine salad, fresh tomatoes, melted American cheese and mayonnaise.

“It’s been 30 years since the first chicken sandwich was introduced to our menu. The sandwich quickly became a favorite and continues today in our menu as one of our top items. Over the years, other sandwiches have been added to the original chicken sandwich and are also a favorite of the chain. Today begins a new stage in the evolution of Church sandwiches, with the arrival of the new Pechu Criollo. The taste of a good Creole bread is what it will do, together with the other components of the sandwich, accepted by our guests “, he commented Guelmari Sosa, Marketing Director of the chain.

Sosa indicated that this new sandwich was developed in Puerto Rico, as are most of the products the chain serves locally. To prepare it, only fresh products are used and to guarantee their quality and freshness, they are prepared to order, he added.

To support the launch, Pechu Criollo will be offered for a limited time in combination with any of the 14 supplements and a Pepsi for $ 5.99.

The restaurants operate according to the executive order in force seven days a week, from 6:00 to 22:00, by serving meals and car service.
