AEW star Chris Jericho became a joke for many Twitter fans on Wednesday night and remained one of the hottest trends on Twitter even after a few hours after Dynamite AEW came out of the air.
With last night Dynamite aired immediately after the Boston Celtics Vs. Milwaukee Bucks on TNT, a lot of NBA fans admitted on social media that they watched AEW television for the first time. In the opening match of Dynamite, Jericho and MJF from The Inner Circle faced the Top Flight team and went away with the victory.
The NBA Twitter community and other social media fans couldn’t help but make fun of Jericho’s physique. Many users captured Jericho snapshots and compared him to Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil.
Former ECW star Justin Credible came to defend Jericho.
“One thing that kept me watching #AEWDynamite is @IAmJericho. He’s the boss. He also killed her for 30 years. @AEW he needs more @IAmJerich. f – k urations. #AEWDynamite Still clear in sound and much better than any #wwe. “
Jericho also liked the tweets of other people defending his physique, but he never addressed his critics directly.
