Chivas: Javier Eduardo “La Chofis” López reveals what he suffered in Guadalajara

Almost five months after he was separated from Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara and almost two months after he was introduced as a football player of MLS earthquakes in San Jose from the United States, Javier Eduardo “La Chofis” Lopez revealed that he has suffered a lot in recent months as a Flock player, after the break-up he experienced at the end of October, missing the last step of the tournament and League.

In an interview for Goal portal in Spanish, La Chofis Lópeza admitted that he did not leave Chivas in the best way, although he considered that the fans and the media were cruel to him, because the criticisms and accusations were unfair on many occasions, reiterating that he is a calm person and that he trained well, being punctual in each of the practices ordered by the rojiblanco coaching staff.

“Sometimes it’s good to say it so that often they don’t think badly of you, you have to talk good things about what you’re doing well,” he said.

La Chofis was separated at the end of October last year, along with Gallito Vázquez, Alexis Peña and Dieter Villalpando because they went to the party, violating the institution’s regulations, in addition to a serious legal problem for one of the players.

“Yes, I did not come out in the best way I could have wanted. At the end of the time, I suffered for a few months, I felt bad, today being honest with you, I feel very calm, very proud, eager for this new challenge I have in my career, I know it will go well for me “, he commented in the interview.

La Chofis denied that he had locker room problems during his stay at Chivas, as he admits that he had playing opportunities, although he did not have fun a few tournaments ago due to other problems.

“It’s not that they didn’t like me there, that’s how I was, I didn’t feel good in the last Chivas tournaments for some reasons.

López assured that he is very calm now in the United States, because the press is not like the one in Guadalajara, emphasizing that in Mexico he looks for mistakes in footballers to show negative things, something for which he suffered during his stay in Chivas.

“It was one of the things I suffered a little bit when I was there in Guadalajara, the center of Guadalajara is a little bit, if you’re bad you’ll always be the worst, if you’re good you’re the best,” he recalled.
