Liberal Reform Party (PLR) president and former La Altagracia province senator Amable Aristy Castro reported being given the vaccine on Tuesday to prevent COVID-19.
Aristy Castro, who is in Miami, United States, with health complications, assured that vaccination is the only way to win the fight against the pandemic.
“Today they gave us the vaccine to prevent COVID-19. Vaccination is the only way to win the battle against this terrible pandemic that has cost us so many lives, ”he wrote.
The political leader was operated on in the heart last November in a trial that lasted about eight hours.
This was the third operation that Amable Aristy Castro underwent in 2020.
