The latest addition to LG’s popular UltraFine series of monitors has an OLED screen that covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and 99% of the Adobe RGB color space. The display offers Pixel Dimming HDR technology, which is made possible by OLED and is aimed at professionals such as video or photo editors.

Very few OLED monitors have come on the market in recent years, with most models coming from Dell. UltraFine OLED Pro is LG’s first OLED monitor offering.

The display includes three standard USB ports, two DisplayPort inputs, an HDMI 2.0 port, an upstream USB Type B port, a 90W USB Type C port, a KVM switch and a headphone jack.

LG also announced the UltraWide 5K monitor, with a curved 39.7-inch Nano IPS display panel, a 5K2K resolution, a wide range of colors and integrated stereo speakers.

The monitor seems to be positioned as a direct rival with the newly announced Dell UltraSharp 40 Curved WUHD, which has the same panel and similar specifications.

The monitor supports a Thunderbolt 4 connection, but there are also connectivity options for DisplayPort, HDMI and USB, but there is little other product information available at this time.

Full specifications, availability and pricing information for the UltraFine Display OLED Pro monitor and the UltraWide 5K monitor have not yet been announced.
