CD Projekt RED has just issued a statement acknowledging that it is the victim of a cyber attack, the attackers entered their internal network accessing sensitive data and the source code of their famous games.

In a press release posted on Twitter, CD Projekt RED included a screenshot of a simple text redemption note left on its servers by the intruder. The source code for Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Gwent, “and an unpublished version of The Witcher 3 (probably remaster) have been blocked or encrypted.
