CBS continues to promote The Talk using a clip from which Sharon Osbourne defends Meghan Markle against the “racist” royal family – after firing the TV host, when she was left for a row of racism the next day for Piers Morgan.
The network has been accused of “hypocrisy” over the incident inside the industry – and a source close to Osbourne claims that CBS “exploits the rating controversy”.
The turn began when Piers Morgan left this morning’s chat show in the UK on the morning of March 9, after saying he did not believe Meghan’s account of the alleged aggression and racist treatment by the royal family in -an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The next day, Osbourne, 69, took a stand on The Talk, saying that although he did not agree with Piers, he supported his right to make controversial comments on television.
“I supported my friend with his freedom of speech and his views on how he felt about the interview between Meghan and Harry,” she said.

Two weeks later, CBS fired her from the show.
But despite offering it to Osbourne, the channel still uses clips with her to promote the show.
In a four-minute section of the show, which aired on March 8, the day before Piers’ controversial comments, Osbourne robbed the royal family and queen, describing their alleged mistreatment of Meghan Markle as “racism.” absolutely at its peak ”.

A source close to Osbourne told DailyMail.com that the ongoing promotion was “partial to the course with CBS, exploiting the rating controversy, while not understanding how to handle it in terms of content.”
A Los Angeles television member who works as a consultant for CBS says Sharon is unhappy with what are “essentially double standards.”
“Clearly, something is not here,” the source said. “One minute CBS says Sharon’s comments don’t align with their values, but then they keep the entire online show intact to get views.
“And those shows also have advertising segments built around them, so they make money from these points of view.

“The commercial arm of CBS does not seem to align with the moral position it takes publicly, given its statement about Sharon. It is clear why she would feel wronged here.
