Russian company Caviar, known for producing luxury variants of popular technology gadgets, announced today that it will launch custom AirPods Max plated with “pure gold” at a high price of $ 108,000 at some point in 2021.

The custom AirPods Max will be available in black and white, each color offering “one piece worldwide”, suggesting that the headphones can be quite exclusive. In Caviar’s words, the seemingly pure gold design “looks elegant, emphasizing the status of the owners and the impeccable taste”, for people who “always want to be on top”.
Caviar recently introduced a custom iPhone 12 Pro, which is supposed to include a small piece of the original circuit board of the Apple I computer, but this claim has been disputed.
