Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrates her daughter’s birthday on Instagram

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas’ daughter is an adult.

Zeta-Jones, 51, wished her daughter Carys Zeta Douglas, on Tuesday, at the age of 18, a tribute on social media that showed the teenager as a baby with a current moment of her in a bathing suit.

“You are everything and everything is you”, the proud mother titled the presentation. “Thank you for the joy you bring me.”

The “Chicago” star then said that her daughter sent her text messages in the early hours of her birthday to thank her for giving birth to her.

“She’s the kind of woman you are,” Zeta-Jones added. “Cute. Your wisdom is beyond your age. [Your] the beauty is deep and your heart is big enough to love and envelop the world, your sense of humor … very important … it is insurmountable ”.

The actress finished the post with a little joke, joking: “Your Japanese need work, but this is achievable” and concluded: “I love you angel. Mother. ”

Carys appreciated the post, commenting: “I love you my mother! Thanks for everything you do. ”

Meanwhile, 76-year-old Douglas did not miss the opportunity to give his daughter a shout out on her special day.

He titled a photo of the pair of dolls, saying, “Honey, this is your father, wishing you the best 18-year-old any young lady could have. You know how much I love you, how proud I am of you and the joy I have seeing you grow into the young lady you want to be! Happy birthday Carys! I love you! Father.”

Carys replied, “Thank you Dad! I love you and thank you for everything you do. You are my biggest inspiration! ”

Zeta-Jone and Douglas have been married since 2000. They share two children: Carys and Dylan Michael Douglas, 20.

Douglas’ son, from his first marriage to film producer Diandra Luker, Cameron Douglas, wished his step-sister well for many years.

“Happy birthday to a remarkable young woman, a sister, an aunt, an intellectual and a wonderful human being from all sides,” subtitled a picture of Carys with her own child on Instagram. “I couldn’t be more proud of the person you are and the trajectory of your star”
