Captured at Evaristo Morales were Vladimir Natera and Joset Rivera, “dangerous drug traffickers,” according to authorities

Members of the Public Ministry and the National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD) reported on Sunday about the capture, with the collaboration of US marshals (Marshalls), of the alleged drug traffickers Vladimir Natera Abreu and Joset Jomar Rivera Verdejo.

Natera Abreu, considered the largest cocaine drug dealer in Puerto Rico, and Rivera Verdejo were arrested during a raid on the Gil Roma tower in the Evaristo Morales expansion in the national district.

Authorities reported that both drug traffickers are being held at DNCD headquarters and in the custody of Marshalls.

They reported that the delivery process in Puerto Rico will begin in the next few hours, where they have problems in court for drug trafficking offenses.

The information was provided in a press release. Authorities explained that his arrest took place as part of the strategies they are implementing against drug trafficking in the country.

Natera Abreu and Rivera Verdejo, according to the authorities, have been actively persecuted by the authorities of the Public Ministry and DNCD since last year.

This Sunday’s operation is part of the Dominican state’s international cooperation actions against organized crime.
