Agents of the National Anti-Maras and Gangs Force (FNAMP) on Tuesday captured an alleged member of the Mara Salvatrucha, identified as Kelvin Eduardo Tinoco Santos (21) alias “El Shaggi“.
Police said the arrest was carried out as part of the operations of the National Inter-Institutional Security Force, following a surveillance operation in the colony. The Queen, sector Lomas del Carmen in San Pedro Sula, in the north of Honduras.
Authorities’ inquiries reveal that Tinoco has been a member of this criminal structure for four years and is committed to racking up extortion.

He has confiscated cash and a cell phone and he will also be sent to the appropriate courts to assume he is responsible for committing the crime of extortion to the detriment of protected witnesses and associations to commit a crime to the detriment of the security of the Interior of the State of Honduras.
