Capitol Rioter John Sullivan accused of already breaking the release terms by going on social media

John Sullivan, a self-proclaimed left-wing activist who was arrested for participating in the Capitol riots, is accused of already violating the terms of his release. Sullivan was released while awaiting trial, as long as he broke social media, received an evaluation of his mental health, and held a full-time job. However, US Pretrial Services Officer Josh Cahoon claimed in lawsuits that Sullivan had broken the order to stay off social media on four separate occasions. A judge has sued Sullivan.

Sullivan claimed to be a Black Lives Matter organizer who was just at the Capitol to film the events, but his own footage made him break a window and scream, “We’ve got to let this shit burn … it’s our house gaps. ! ” BLM organizers in his home state of Utah have disavowed him, describing him as “an eyesore.”
