Want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a basic wool coat, because even a grizzled old man in a video game has sports? Well, Capcom just has the business for you.
Capcom recently listed one Japan’s exclusive reply of the clothes Chris Redfield is wearing Resident Evil Village for the incredible price of JPY 159,731, or just over 1,500 USD USD. It has no buttons and is available in four sizes: medium, large, very large and a slightly larger “original model”, which is supposed to fit the proportions of Chris’s game. The official description also says that the “Original Model” looks more like the real piece of clothing that the developers scanned 3D in the game.
Interested parties may also purchase the garment as part of two separate collector’s edition packages that include Resident Evil Village and other tricks such as an art book, a statue of Mr. Redfield, and postcards.
Aside … is this literally just a wool coat? A less functional wool coat, seeing that you can’t even button the closed work curse when things get cold. I’m not going to pretend to be very fashionable, but Chris seems to be ready Resident Evil Village by hitting Macy’s. In fact, a simple search for the “wool coat” on the store’s website brings a lot of options for much more reasonable prices.

Leon Kennedy’s Resident Evil 4 bomber jacket, which Capcom sold back in 2016 for almost $ 1,200, it’s at least unique in comparison and even had a zipper.
