Last year’s tour was originally planned for the regular offline circuit, but COVID-19 quickly put the kibosh on these planes. Capcom redirected to take the entire online tour and planned a Capcom Cup in the Dominican Republic, but which ended up falling due to COVID restrictions.
Instead, the finalists ended up playing online exhibitions against other top competitors in their regions, but the 2020 Tour certainly felt very light compared to the usual hype and excitement that the Tour brings.
The full CPT program is now available for viewing on the site, where events will begin in April and continue through January 2022.
