Capcom Insider Supports Earlier Claims to Launch Resident Evil Revelations 3 Focused Switch

Revelations Resident Evil

Last year, Capcom suffered a leak revealing a game called Resident Evil Outbreak was scheduled for a Q4 2021 version.

As Capider insider previously stated Twilight golem, this title is apparent Revelations Resident Evil 3 (or at least it was originally called that at some point during development) and will be a “switch-oriented RE game”, but not exclusively for the platform.

The same expert has now backed up previous claims – stating that the game will arrive “within a year of [Resident Evil] The Village Launch ”, which will take place in May this year, and will be part of Capcom’s big 25th anniversary celebrations for its long-running series.

“This does not come from me, but for registration, Revelations 3 will be released within a year of the release of the Village, either in late 2021 or early 2022

“The launches as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations, along with Village, will almost certainly be a timed switch exclusive. But that will be announced later this year, for now Village deserves attention and will be out in just a few months now! “

Dusk Golem continues to claim how the game runs “100%” on the RE engine it used for Capcom Monster Hunter Rise and, while it is a “timed exclusive”, it will be released “on anything” as a game of multiple generations. It was also mentioned how Rebecca will continue to be the protagonist:

“I first heard about Rev 3 in 2017 that it will play Rebecca and I have been updated several times over the years, it’s still a Rebecca game. I’m semi-aware of who the protagonists 2 and 3 are, both returning characters, but these lips are closed for the moment. “

Dusk Golem previously unveiled a new Monster Hunter game for Switch long before the official announcement – explaining how it would work on RE Engine.

The last entry in the Apocalypse line was Revelations Resident Evil 2 – an episodic approach to the survival horror series, originally released in 2015 and appeared on Switch in 2017.
