Capcom announces Monster Hunter Rise Day One update, unlocks pre-order bonuses and amiibo

When executives let employees take a day off Monster Hunter Rise, you can tell people are excited about Capcom’s latest entry. Just before the release, Capcom revealed that it will release a patch for Rise.

Coming to 600 MB, fortunately it is quite small and if you opted for a digital copy, it creates about 8 GB of memory space. Apart from a few unspecified bug fixes, this patch mainly gives access to content from the Deluxe kit, also unlocking pre-order and amiibo bonuses.

Using this version 1.1.1, there are not many others here, and Capcom has issued these patch notes:

Main additions / modifications
*
Access to the content in the Deluxe set, as well as the additional content from pre-order bonuses and amiibo bonuses.

Troubleshooting / Miscellaneous
*
Various bug fixes have been made.

We had great things to say in our Rise review. Giving it 9/10 stars, I called it “a new brand for the franchise”, and other publications are similarly impressed. If you want to distract yourself by Friday, why not check out the recent feature in Monster Hunter history.
