Canó and Martínez lead the first practice of the Eagles for the Caribbean Series

Prior to practice, players were again subjected to PCR tests administered by the Ministry of Public Health, in accordance with the protocols established for teams competing in the regional competition.

Martínez and Junior Lake participated in a virtual press interview to give their views on the team and their goals at the event.

Martínez assured that if they stay healthy, the team they take in Mexico should be in contention for the title, which would be the twenty-second for the country and the sixth for the Águilas Cibaeñas team.

“We trained hard this week and we are ready for that first game, in which so far I have no limits of innings or pitching,” Martinez said when speaking to the press in a video conference.

Martínez reported that so far, with the plan agreed with the leader Félix Fermín, “it is the launch of this unique game, but it is possible that, if an additional game situation arises, it will be available for launch”.
