Candace Cameron looks again at the “ugly” people who criticized her family photo on New Year’s Eve

Candace Cameron Bure took to social media on Saturday and shared a family photo to celebrate the new year and offer some encouraging words of hope for 2021.

And now the Full House star wakes up carrying the tasks of the “ugly” after some people shared some harsh and “unfair” comments about the image of the family of five people.

“Wow- I’m posting a family photo and everyone can find everything you don’t like or can make fun of. Do better than that. Please, ”the 44-year-old actress wrote in response to Instagram, less than 24 hours later.

The photo in question, taken by the wife of Fuller House co-star Dave Coulier, Melissa Coulier, showed Bure posing with her husband Valeri and their three children: daughter Natasha, 22, and sons Lev, 20, and Maksim, 18, on the porch of a house.

While many of the commentators threw themselves at the family portrait and the smiles on Candace and Valeri’s faces, there were others who criticized their children for the look on their faces.

“This is a very strange photo,” wrote one person, who went on to say that one of Bure’s sons “looks like stones” and that Natasha “looks like an evil queen of the Disney movie.”

Natasha, who can be seen without smiling and looking to her right in the picture, also lost some time when she gave back on Instagram, writing, “Oh, my God, I didn’t smile or look at the camera. Sue me!!!’

Candace shared her disappointment with the negative reactions to the photo on Facebook.

“I posted my family Christmas photo and, unfortunately, there were so many unpleasant comments. Do you think it’s funny to criticize someone’s children? Make jokes about them? To criticize our hypostases? The direction we are looking? Our physical appearance and facial expressions? she wrote.

“I wished blessings to all as I shared it in the spirit of a happy new year, yet so many of you came back with jokes about our appearance and criticism of what you thought would have been a better photo. . Shame on you, she continued before adding that “it doesn’t matter if you’re 10 or 90, the rude is rude.”

Candace continued to encourage people to “be better than that” and to “pray for humanity.”

“Ways and respect. If you don’t like something, move on. There are real people and feelings behind every screen. PS Please don’t tell me to ignore the “haters”.

She concluded by adding a healthy dose of sarcasm: “There were a lot of well-meaning people who thought it would be funny to point things out and share their comments, ‘with love.’ Umm … this is not love. That’s rude. Try kindly. Looks good to everyone.
