Campos, Jones and Jonathan dos Santos model the new “community kit” of the Galaxy

LA Galaxy today unveiled the team’s new T-shirt, known as the “Community Kit”, in which Mexican midfielder Jonathan dos Santos served as models, as well as former players Jorge Campos and Cobi Jones, among others.

Galaxy ‘Community Kit’ has grown from the club’s culture and has a design with vertical stripes in black, technical green and collegiate gold, which pays homage to the club’s history.

The shirt has a modern design that gives a nod to the past and is inspired by the views and sounds of the Galaxy days at Rose Bowl Stadium.

“We are excited to introduce the new LA Galaxy Community Kit that will serve as a side uniform for the next two seasons,” said LA Galaxy President Chris Klein.

“We are the club of champions in the city of champions and this classic design pays homage to it. We are proud of our history and hope that our fans will love the progressive retro-inspired twist of this shirt. “

The “community kit” is a celebration of fans who have been loyal fans of the Galaxy since day one. The name of the shirt celebrates the history of the club, the vibrant community of fans and the spirit of Los Angeles.

The new travel shirt will have a LA logo detail on the back of the neck. Both home and away kits will carry the club’s five stars above the shield, representing the five LA Galaxy MLS Cup titles won in 2002, 2005, 2011, 2012 and 2014.

The white home shirt that was unveiled in 2020 will remain for 2021.
