MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Everglades National Park will host special events on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate Miami Dark Sky Week. Ranger-led events will help guests explore the night sky of the Everglades.
An astronomy group will offer a telescope to visitors to the Shark Valley Dark Park from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday.
Visitors will be able to cycle through the park and explore Bobcat Promenade.
No registrations are required for this event.
Also on Saturday, the Flamingo Visitor Center hosts a nightly event at 8:30 p.m. Registration is required for this event.
All events are also free, with a paid entrance fee to the park.
