Call of DutyBattle Royale War zone is just under a year old. When it launched in March 2020, I praised the 150-player online game for a smooth game, simplified mechanics and fast action. But all the features made at once War zone one of the best real fights to give up now feels hampered by the wreckage created by recent updates. As it is now, War zone it’s a tough mess of bugs, scams and gun balancing issues.

Keeping up with the trend of games as a live service, accumulating constant updates to a massive game like War zone it can be both a blessing and a curse. The new content keeps the game fresh with new weapons, fashions and cosmetics. But every time something is added to the game, something else seems to break.

At the end of last year, War zone spent many weeks affected by a unlimited glitch, which allowed players to launch an infinite number of deadly attacks. The juggernaut costume consists of heavy armor and allows the player to wield a minigun, which makes for a frustrating royal fighting experience when dealing with only one or two of these threats. Fortunately, this error has been fixed for the time being. But some old mistakes have reappeared, including the shooting defect we know.

The stimulus shot is a piece of tactical equipment used for healing, but it is abused with an exploit that allows a player to have continuous and infinite healing. This allows players to stand War zonetoxic gas, which would otherwise cause imminent death and survive all other opponents for unjust victories. Developer Raven Software posted on Twitter that problem with the shot we know was fixed with a patch last week, but some players still reports equipment abuse.

A long-term issue that has not been addressed is load freezing. Many players reported that their game crashed for a few seconds after trying to collect their load level, leaving them vulnerable on the map. I haven’t personally encountered this problem, but it seems to appear quite a lot to others.

Fighting with weapons has also been heavy since December 16, when developers integrated Black Ops Cold War weapons in Modern Warfare-based War zone. Throwing all these extra weapons in the mix created some bugs and balancing issues. Cold warThe DMR 14 tactical rifle became fast War zoneThe most powerful pistol, which dominates the meta, is closely followed by the Diamatti dual pistols and the MAC-10 machine gun. An update on January 13th offered nerves to both the DMR 14 and the two Diamattis, but both are still powerful weapons, especially as the pistols sense completely unchanged.

On the bright side, the DMR 14 nerve has players heading to try to find the next best weapon for long-range fire fighting. I still see a lot of players running and shooting with MAC-10 and Diamattis, but it’s nice to see a slightly better variety of weapons in play. Modern WarfareThe CR-56 AMAX assault rifle is my favorite War zone, and it looks like he may again be a competitor without the DMR meta in the game.

There is also a the problem of recharging which can occur with some of the integrated weapons. You can initiate a reload of the pistol and watch the animation happen, but sometimes the weapon is not actually reloaded. This cost me my life in more than a few gun fights when I was using it Cold war weapons in War zone.

Some players want to Cold war weapons to be removed War zone, but I think the weapons just need proper balancing. Of course, it is worth mentioning this as War zone it continues to be the bridge that connects the future Call of Duty the titles, the fund of weapons and equipment could become an overwhelming mess. I guess Call of Duty would do well to take a page from Fortnite, vaulting certain weapons to keep the balance of the game and keep things fresh. I can understand the hesitation in vault weapons for which players have purchased cosmetics, but it would be less of a problem to throw an object like the stimulus shot so that players don’t have a chance to abuse it.

Apart from the problems of the articles, there are still deceptions War zone. Activision he began to fight the deceivers into the Modern Warfare and War zone in April last year, but nothing seems to stop the influx of wallhacks and prevent that chisel from the integrity of the matches. All players can do is report the cheater in the in-game option, but Activision reviews and bans accounts doesn’t seem to matter; scammers make new accounts. In May, Activision added a two-factor authentication requirement for all new ones War zone PC accounts. But hackers are good at finding solutions and still blatantly cheat. No one wants to deal with scammers, and many content creators and professionals are quite fed up.

In terms of integrity in War zoneOn the competition stage, cash prize tournaments are often compromised, with players finding ways to bypass the game’s skill-based match to be placed in the “bot lobbies” of less skilled players. Several methods have been exposed, including specific routers for ping locations or the use of accounts with inversely stimulated statistics. Current Twitch Rivals Doritos Bowl is the first major War zone tournament of the Black Ops Cold War integration to present private lobbies to prevent any discrepancies with skill-based matching. We hope that all future competitions will have private lobbies, especially big money tournaments.

In addition to all these bigger issues, one petty criticism I have is that the map of Verdansk is outdated. I’ve been complaining for a long time that there is so much untapped potential in the Verdansk landscape. Instead of receiving updates to the Verdansk map for the first season, we have a second map: the smallest, Cold war-thematic “Rebirth Island”. A smaller map adds some variety to the landscape and pace of matches, and I often enjoy faster, high-profile matches over the slower, more champion matches on Verdansk. Although I still don’t think it needs the same bells and whistles as the larger map of Verdansk, Rebirth Island is now my favorite option for War zone matches.

Not all complaints here are meant to say that War zone It may not be a fun time, but it can often be ruined by bugs or scams that should not remain as constant factors in an online shooter. I threw countless hours in War zone, and I want to remain my favorite fighting wrestler, but now it’s too rough around the edges to enjoy in the current state. I would love to see a huge update that only focuses on cleaning up errors and balancing weapons, which is more important than just cramming in new cosmetics or adding time-limited modes. War zone it needs a little TLC to get back to the fantastic shape it launched last year.
