Unfortunately, some players have difficulty completing Akimbo’s challenge for Sykov. The challenge requires players to get 3 kills in 5 different matches using the Mo’Money advantage with Renetti, but the description of the challenge is actually wrong. Unlocking the Akimbo advantage for this weapon actually requires you to do something completely different. Here’s how to get Akimbo for Sykov in Call of Duty: Warzone.
How to unlock Akimbo for Sykov in Warzone
To unlock Akimbo for Sykov, you need to get it 3 kills in 5 different matches using the Mo’Money advantage with Sykov. The description of the challenge states that you must use Renetti, but the description is incorrect. The challenge can only be completed using the Sykov pistol.
This challenge can be easily completed in Modern Warfare multiplayer. Jump only in Shoot the Ship or in the playlist of your choice and get 3 kills using Sykov. Of course, make sure you have the Mo’Money advantage equipped. You can leave matches after getting 3 kills, but some players have reported problems with the challenge that is not pursued, so it is best to stay in matches until it is over just to make sure everything works. If you’re struggling to get kills with Sykov, try playing a hardcore mode so you can get gun shooting easier from long range.
If you don’t own Modern Warfare or don’t have the game installed, then you can do this challenge in Warzone as well. Robbery is the recommended game mode to work on this challenge, because you can respawn until you get the kills you need. You can also do this in a standard Battle Royale match, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to get three kills with Sykov before you are eliminated.
Fortunately, the Akimbo unlock challenge doesn’t have a level requirement, so you don’t have to spend hours to get one of Sykov’s best perks. While you will have to grind to get the fully automatic barrel or massive drum shops that everyone uses, if you have Akimbo right from the start it will make it easier for you to level the weapon.
