Dr. Kamal says that on a given day there are less than 30 ICU beds available throughout Santa Clara County. He says that even family reunions are dangerous, but believes that staying home can reverse the large number of cases that would improve the number of ICUs, remove pressure from hospitals and lead to reopening.
“I’ve seen so many times when people meet in small groups even with their cousins, uncles, aunts or grandparents that it happens and often happens with people who don’t know they’re sick and don’t know they have symptoms, so we really need to take shelter and shelter, “says Dr. Kamal.
