Cal-Maine Foods – Cal-Maine Foods reported a surprise profit for the second fiscal quarter, bringing the stock to over 2% trading after the program. The company posted earnings per share of 25 cents on revenue of $ 347.3 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected a loss of 8 cents before the revenue share of $ 333.5 million. The company’s egg sales increased by 4.6% every year.
Myriad Genetics – The shares of the biotechnology company have increased by almost 2% in the news Myriad will explore “strategic alternatives” for its autoimmune business. The company is also restructuring its international operations.
Smart Global Holdings – Smart Global posted better-than-expected fiscal earnings per share in the first quarter, raising the computer memory maker’s stock by 2.4%.
