The Arizona Cardinals added the safety of Budda Baker to Thursday’s injury report, with Baker earning a limited designation due to a neck injury.

The timing is not ideal for the Cardinals, as Chris Banjo’s safety was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list on Thursday. This leaves Jalen Thompson, Deionte Thompson and Charles Washington as three other players on the active list.

Jalen Thompson trained fully on both Wednesday and Thursday, returning for the first time since week 11 due to an ankle injury.

Elsewhere, DeAndre Hopkins wide receiver has been upgraded from DNP to limited because it works through a hip problem. The same upgrade came for defender Haason Reddick (hip) and tight Maxx Williams (ankle).

Chase Edmonds (hip), wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (groin) and tight Darrell Daniels (hamstring) did not train for the second day in a row.

For the Los Angeles Rams, runner Cam Akers did not participate on Wednesday and Thursday due to an ankle injury. Aaron Donald rehearsed in full on Thursday after he disappeared on Wednesday for reasons unrelated to the injury.
