Obviously, no one will receive the host call Saturday night live if they’re not famous (though, if Lorne Michaels wonders, we have some great ideas for a sketch about some people living in California), but if you’re not already a John Krasinski-type superstar, get the call to go to Studio 8H seems like a sure sign that you have succeeded– or at least the fact that you had such a sudden noticeable impact on pop culture for which SNL to not gives you some broadcast time. The latest person to have succeeded It is Bridgerton outburst Regé-Jean Page, Duke of Hastings, with Deadline Report that it will host the next episode of SNL on February 20, Bad Bunny will be the musical guest, making a real physical appearance after appearing last year for a cameo during one of the surprisingly good pandemic episodes.
Deadline notes that Page episode will be number four in a five-episode series, reaching a short level of a series of six episodes that SNL continued before last year’s election. If something just as big happens in the next few weeks, Colin Jost and his friends are absolutely absolute I have to comment, maybe SNL will decide to keep things even longer. Of course, it has to be funny big or interesting big, not scary big, otherwise no one will want to look SNL.
