Derion Kendrick he is no longer with the team and is expected to enter the transfer portal, TigerNet confirmed on Sunday morning.
Kendrick, a senior at South Pointe High School in Rock Hill, has played a total of 1,354 combined catches from scrimmage to corner and wide receiver in 39 career games (23 starts) and is credited with 71 approaches (4.0 for loss), 12 passing divisions, three interceptions (including one turned 38 yards for a touchdown), a sack and a fumble recovery (returned 66 yards for a touchdown). He also recorded 15 career receptions for 210 yards and returned 15 career hits, averaging 23.3 yards in 2018-19.
Kendrick entered and left the range in 2020, but was still an All-ACC first-team selection and also an All-ACC first-team selection of AP and Pro Football Focus. He was credited with 20 approaches (one for losses), six breakouts, a sack, an interception and a fumble (which he returned 66 yards for a touchdown) in 382 snaps in nine games ( eight starts).
