Tributes to “one of the most beautiful and talented talents in the voice industry”
Brad Venable, a voice artist known for his extensive work in television and video games, passed away earlier this week at the age of 43. The news was given on social networks on January 8, with heartfelt thanks from many of his friends and colleagues in the industry.
Venable’s talent has been featured in popular anime, TV series and video game franchises since the early 1990s. While Venable ‘s most prolific roles include that of V’ s familiar Griffon in Devil May Cry 5, and Kostas and Nader in Fire emblem: three houses, his extensive industry work also saw Venable distributed Final Fantasy VII Remake, World of Warcraft, and Shenmue IIIas well as TV series as well Attack on Titan, Hero Mask, and Aggretsuko.
Speaking on Twitter, vocal artist Terry Daniel he remembered Venable as “One of the most beautiful and talented talents in voice over business. [Brad] she was a man’s lover and would help you with anything you needed. Ridiculous talent and a real treasure. “
Cristina Vee he also paid tribute to Venable, recalling that “he always had a smile and a kind word to say” and mentioned that he was “a foundation in our community and left too soon”.
Other praises were offered by the actors, Darrel J. Delfin, Brian Olvera, Khoi Dao, and Erica Mendez, many of which reflected on Venable’s talents and abilities in vocal acting, but all about which he spoke of his kindness, generosity, and his helpful and witty nature. Brief, Chris Hackney said “Brad was kind. Brad was easy. Brad was talented. Brad was humble. Brad was everything and more.”
