Today on Twitter, the producer Masaaki Yamagiwa announced that he is leaving Sony Japan Studio in Tokyo. However, he does not leave the gaming industry.
“I’m leaving Sony Interactive Entertainment later this month,” he said wrote. “I will continue to work hard to create games. Many thanks to all! ”
While at Sony, Yamagiwa produced Transmitted by blood, Bloodborne The Old Hunters, Uprooted, and Tokyo Jungle.
This is the second departure from Japan Studio in recent months. In December, Keiichiro Toyama, the creator Siren and Gravity Rush, disclosure that he left the company to set up his own outfit, Bokeh Game Studio. Toyama was joined by Kazunobu Sato, who designed Puppetteer and was a manufacturer on The last Guardian, as well as Junya Okura, who worked as a designer at Gravity Rush.
