“Her middle name, Warrior Irwin, is a tribute to my father and his legacy as the most incredible Warrior of the Wildlife. Her last name is Powell and she already has a soul as good as her father’s.

“Her middle name, Warrior Irwin, is a tribute to my father and his legacy”: Bindi paid tribute to his late father Steve, referring to him as Grace’s middle name.
Steve, known to millions of people around the world as the “Crocodile Hunter,” was filming a documentary when he was stabbed in the heart by a stingray beard on September 4, 2006 in Batt Reef, Queensland. He was 44 years old.
In an interview with the late Larry King in 2018, Bindi admitted that she has no resentment towards ducks, despite the fact that the creatures are responsible for her father’s death.
“No, honestly not … It just happened like a crazy accident,” she said at the time.
