Big Hit entertainment, YG Entertainment, Universal Music Group, and Kiswe Mobile will launch a new live streaming platform ‘VenewLive‘together.
Big Hit Entertainment announced on February 10 that YG Entertainment and Universal Music Group have decided to invest KBYK Live, which is a joint venture of Big Hit and Kiswe Mobile. Big Hit and Kiswe signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in May 2020 and set up their joint venture KBYK Live in September of that year. Since then, KBYK Live has been using the VenewLive live streaming platform for Big Hit artists, such as BTS“Online concerts”Bang Bang Con: The Live‘ and ‘BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON: E‘.
YG and UMG intend to develop the “VenewLive” platform as a platform for artists around the world together with KBYK Live through their joint investments. “VenewLive” intends to present various elements of digital performance, such as live chat and the purchase of official products adapted to each artist and their fans in the future.
