Let’s be honest, though. Operation Warp Speed is Trump’s legacy and a very good one at that. Never has a vaccine been developed, manufactured and distributed so quickly. Biden seeks to eliminate as much as possible Trump’s policies and achievements during his tenure, and this petty move is part of that mentality. The Biden team justifies the name change because it claims that while the vaccine push was successful, the operation did not meet expectations for the vaccine to be distributed to humans as well. The name implies for some people who are reluctant to receive the vaccine, offering a hurried product, perhaps inferior.
Here’s what’s happening – any concerns about the vaccine’s effectiveness or safety have been caused even by people who now want to rename the operation. Before the vaccine was ready to be distributed, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, as well as a host of other critics of Trump (Democrats), made a point of telling anyone who would listen that they would hesitate or even refuse to get the vaccine if it was developed and made available during Trump’s tenure. The Biden administration wants its own name, so it will replace the Operation Warp Speed call. Many officials working on the program will remain as the new administration enters. Biden spokesman Jen Psaki explained the change. Biden’s promise to get 100 million shots in the first 100 days in office is part of the focus on distribution. This is a captivating goal, but they are probably preparing for failure.
“OWS is the name of the Trump team for their program,” Ms. Psaki wrote on Twitter, using the program’s initials. “We are gradually entering a new structure, which will have a different name from OWS. Many civil servants will be critical to our response, but there is an urgent need to address the failures of the Trump team’s approach to vaccine distribution. ”
The announcement came as Operation Warp Speed faced a new rage after it indicated that more doses from a warehouse would be sent to states. But federal officials have since clarified that the doses actually come from a tranche saved for the second dose.

Biden frequently says he will listen to scientists make important political decisions. However, members of the Science Party were the first to criticize Operation Warp Speed instead of acknowledging its historical significance. Instead of giving credit to the Trump administration, they seemed childish and partisan. Joe Biden often seems to believe that if he says the word “science” enough, his ideas will be legitimate. Biden appointed Eric Lander on Friday to be his scientific adviser and director of the Bureau of Science and Technology Policy. He also rose to a cabinet position. Lander is president and founding director of the Broad Institute at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Ironically, when announcing Lander’s nomination, Biden talked about a conversation he had with Xi Jinping in his days as vice president. He said, “He asked me if I could explain America to him. Biden presented five areas on which the scientific team will focus:
First, the pandemic and what we can learn about what is possible or should be possible,
to meet the broadest public health need?Second, the economy and how can we better rebuild to ensure that prosperity is fully shared in America and among all Americans?
Third, how can science help us deal with the climate crisis with American jobs and ingenuity?
Fourth, how can we ensure that the United States leads the world in the technologies and industries of the future that will be essential to our economic prosperity and national security, especially as we compete with China and other nations?
And fifth, how can we ensure long-term health and confidence in science and technology in our nation?
Kessler is said to be close to Dr. Fauci. They worked closely together to accelerate the development and approval of drugs during the AIDS epidemic of the 1990s. However, there is still no AIDS vaccine, so take this partnership and everything else says Joe Biden with a grain of salt.
