After two weeks of inactivity due to coronavirus infection, Mexican player Diego Lainez returned to Real Betis training on Tuesday, for which he is preparing Day 23 of La Liga of Spain in which he will face Villarreal.
The Sevillan club boasted of the return of the former American player, who just before the contagion added eight games in a row starting as a starter, a situation that has meant its best moment since arriving on the Old Continent.
This Monday afternoon it was announced that after being subjected to a new PCR test, Lainez was negative, so it was immediately placed under the command of coach Manuel Pellegrini.

At this point, the Mexican adds 15 matches between Liga and Copa del Rey, with 725 minutes played, in which he recorded three assists, playing his last match on January 26 against Real Sociedad.
