Bears’ offensive coaches were jailed on Mac Jones of Alabama

The Chicago Bears intentionally approached the position of defender in this off-season with intent, but did not exactly face them. They have been in talks with teams that trade or can trade with quarterbacks, but nothing has been done.

Most notable was the Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, whom Chicago pursued aggressively. They even offered three first-round picks, a third-round pick and two players for Wilson. But the Seahawks informed him that Wilson was not trading at this time.

Instead, the Bears had to settle for signing veteran defender Andy Dalton for a $ 10 million one-year deal, which was not exactly the home fans’ hope after Wilson’s rumors.

Now, with the addition of Dalton, there seems to be a guarantee that Chicago will look to add a rookie quarterback.

One of the defenders who caught their attention – along with countless other teams – is Mac Jones of Alabama, who drew a lot to the university’s professional day. Among those present were Bears offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, game coordinator / quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo and area scout Sam Summerville.

Unfortunately, there is a good chance that Jones will not be on the board when Chicago’s first pick appears in 20th place. which could be addressed.

Again, don’t underestimate GM Ryan Pace’s conviction. When he sees his guy, he’ll do whatever it takes to land him. If he happens to be Jones, we could see him in Bears uniform.
