In his resignation letter, the professor says that he did so irrevocably “by a direct order given to me by the Lord Almighty.”

“The power of Christ’s resurrection is about to be manifested in those who have died believing in Him, and eternal life will be manifested, the victory over death that has tormented man in these six thousand years in which he has been above it. the curse of sin weighs, ”Ferrer said in his resignation letter as a linguistics teacher.

Like Pastor Gabriel Ferrer and following the instructions he gave, the other believers gave up their jobs and sold all their possessions because “they will no longer need these material possessions.”

A few days ago, residents of Isabel López alerted authorities to the three families who arrived at the end of December and lived in the house where they placed a countdown of the days needed for “the second coming of Christ.” .

Police and the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF) were present at the scene due to the possibility that the rights of minors belonging to the three families may be violated.

In this regard, the commander of the Atlantic police, Colonel Hugo Molano, told the press that the Police for Children and Adolescents visited the site in response to the community’s complaint that the children were subject to the post.

“What I found there were three families. They say that no one is obliged, but that the three families live there and it is the place where other people go to listen to them,” Colonel Molano remarked.

After the inspection, the authorities considered that the religious community did not violate any rules and allowed them to remain congregated, given the freedom of worship enshrined in the Colombian Constitution.

Jorge Manotas, the mayor of Sabanalarga, which is the municipality of which Isabel López is part, announced that they will closely monitor this religious community, as there is concern about the outcome of the situation. EFE
