Avengers Marvel has Hawkeye and PS5 and Xbox Series X versions lined up for March 18th

Better performance, faster load times and haptic feedback await players upgrading to the next generation

Finally, we have a meeting (March 18) for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions Marvel Avengers – but is it a little too late? Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are definitely hoping for a big boost after a rocky and slower release than expected from the updates and new content after release.

PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Avengers we will have “Updated images and framerates”, “significantly faster upload times”, “enhanced destruction” and, in the case of the PS5’s DualSense controller, “haptic feedback for each hero. “What does the Hulk mean? I feel that.? Interesting minds want to know.

Of course, there’s still the elephant in the room: the need for fresh story content to get players back on their feet. Avengers also launches the next update of the story and characters, Clint Barton’s Imperfect Future, on March 18th. Is it weird to have two archers back in an Avengers game? Incredible.

Crystal Dynamics covered Clint’s kit – including a Quick Dex / parry Reflex, a single-target Dead Eye attack, a katana, and lots of arrow types, such as Boomerang and Tripwire arrows – in a deep dive video .

“As Kate flashes around the battlefield like a blur of endless blows at multiple enemies, Clint is the steadfast hunter, taking down his enemies with powerful and precise blows, one by one,” the studio said.

As for the (free) Future Imperfect story, it borrows from Old Hawkeye and My Life as a Weapon; Nick Fury is MIA. You’ve probably seen Maestro before, but it’s worth clarifying that Clint’s mission is on a new biome, Wasteland – and that the dog Lucky will appear.

I see people who want to play single-player Avengers story on the new consoles due to performance gains, but to the extent that you gave the live-service elements a slap in the arm? I’m not optimistic.

The sooner I can get this update, the sooner we can see big hitters like Spider-Man.
