Austin Rivers gains some adoration from Knicks fans, though he may not extend to the front.
The guard posted a hilarious video on Instagram in which he explained to his friend, Audreyana Michelle, that he was going to work at the Knicks facility on Tuesday, on the team’s day off, after returning from a week-long road trip.
“She’s crazy, I want to go on the day off … and we (the team) just got back from a long trip. lol and yes, this is real, ”Rivers said in his first Instagram story.
“Can I have a day for myself?” Michelle can be heard asking in the background. “Do you want to spend your F-King day with me?”

Rivers, who signed a three-year deal worth $ 10 million this season, got off to an impressive start with the Knicks. After missing the training camp and the first four games with a groin injury, Rivers has an average of 10 points per game in three competitions, despite the lack of training time without Tom Thibodeau.
Rivers was on the floor in the final minutes of back-to-back wins over the Pacers and Hawks, making the 3-point clutch to help seal both wins.
Rivers ended the video with a photo of the Knicks practice facility with the caption “I pulled up. She’s hot right now,” with a laughing emoji.
Rivers and Michelle have been dating since early 2020 and are expecting a baby together.
