Without being brilliant, Deportivo Cali obtained on Tuesday a valuable victory with 1-0 in Tunja over Chicó, which places him partially in the leadership of the league.

After a difficult week due to the absence of his figure, Agustín Palavecino, amazed by the flirtations of River and Palmeiras, and after the surprising draw at home against Envigado the day before, Cali’s fans and football demanded the Argentine’s presence.

And on the 10th he returned, apparently after clarifying some things with the board, dressed in shorts, played and scored the winning goal.

In the first half was the control of the ball by both teams.
However, the sugar bowls did not look good and in some passages of the match they were overtaken by the local players quickly.

At 14 minutes there was the first possibility of a goal and it was in the name of Chicó; Kevin Londoño ran onto a great ball from Nelino Tapia, which beat the offside trap, the keeper came rushing out and the lob was attempted, but the lob didnt succeed.

Cali responded and in the 30th minute Marco Pérez lost an option in an incredible way, with all the bow at his disposal, when he fired hard and the ball went over the horizontal.

At the age of 33, they canceled a goal for Chicó and shortly after the end of the first half, John Vásquez did not finish a game on the left well.

In addition it was more of the same, with an alternate dominance and some arcade arrivals.

Until the sugar goal game arrived, the 65th minute, center of John Vásquez and the appearance of Palavecino to send it to the bottom of the net.
Two minutes later, the equalizer came close to a shot by Banguero, but Guillermo de Amores avoided the fall of his fence by sending the ball to the corner kick.

Later, no matter how hard El Chicó tried, it wasn’t enough to draw. He finished with one less due to the expulsion of Diego Echeverri at the head of the match.

Meanwhile, Cali took the defense well, endured the disorderly attack of the local and came out victorious with a score of the player who claimed the most fans: Agustín Palavecino.

Sugar producers are now adding 10 points, are leaders in the table and are encouraged to continue to be the protagonists of the League.
