“I am lucky to work for a health system that was among the first to receive the vaccine in this region. Atrium Health first vaccinates front-line health care workers, along with people like me, who have secondary roles, and have offered appointments in the coming weeks. By doing what we do, my team and I frequently go to our hospitals and locations to support the outstanding work done and share it with the public. After going through the state’s online process and receiving state approval for the vaccine, I consider myself very lucky to be among those scheduled to receive the vaccine and I am so excited to receive it. I fully understand the questions as I asked them. I was told it was my time for the vaccine, and rather than miss this chance and lose the risk of the vaccine, I jumped at the chance. My hope is that when the time comes for each person to get the vaccine, they will do the same. Continuous thanks to all our health heroes.
