Arturo Islas, an animal protection and compliance activist, attacked Eugenio Derbez, because the comedian was one of the main ones in claiming that the animals were forbidden in circuses, thus causing that many were left helpless or abandoned. In this context, the manufacturer also cataloged Eugenio Derbez as ignorant. In addition, he invited him to help the animals that have suffered because of the decision that started from a political issue.
In an interview with First hand, Arturo Islas expressed his dissatisfaction with Eugenio Derbez, because from his point of view the comedian only cares about reforms, but not about the financial donations needed for the animals saved from that show.
And recently, the activist with the help of Mr. Tempo rescued an elephant – Big boy – who was in poor condition after being “thrown” from a circus show. According to Islas, Eugenio Derbez occupied only the law -It came into force in 2015- which forbids circus animals to promote themselves because they have not done something because the animals readjust and have a better life.
“There was a law banning circuses with animals, but there was no one to protect them; and there were personalities involved like Eugenio Derbez who speak out of ignorance “, said the activist.

Faced with this scenario, he asked Eugenio Derbez to change his perspective and “submit a bargain” to help abandoned animals. He even invited him to visit the elephant they had just rescued.
