Armie Hammer will “move away” from the Jennifer Lopez movie amid the DM scandal

Armie Hammer will move away from his upcoming film, “Shotgun Wedding”, confirmed Page Six, amid a boiling scandal involving alleged messages divulged from the star about his sex life.

A source familiar with the project told us that Hammer is “moving away” from the action comedy film that will go into production this year.

A spokesman for the production confirmed for page six: “Given the imminent start date of ‘Shotgun Wedding’, Armie asked to move away from the film and we support him in his decision.”

Representatives for Hammer did not comment.

Jennifer Lopez is directing the film directed by “Pitch Perfect” director Jason Moore.

Ryan Reynolds was previously meant to play the role of Hammer and is the executive producer of the film, which follows a cold-legged couple whose destination wedding is taken hostage. The film is distributed in the US by Lionsgate and last month was sold internationally to Amazon Prime.

The alleged messages from Hammer describe the fantasies of rape and cannibalism, and the star has not yet commented publicly on DM – which was revealed by an anonymous social media account called House of Effie. The account claimed that a message from Hammer to a woman said he was “100% cannibal”, while another terrible message was about “cutting off his toes”.

Sources said that some from Hammer’s camp tried to support the star in the city. But even people inside hardened Hollywood seem to be shaken by the alleged messages. In any case, the situation certainly seems unusual for Lopez, who is still rising after her Hollywood success, “Hustlers” and the Super Bowl break show last year.

Hammer’s future projects also include the thriller, “The Billion Dollar Spy”, as well as a planned sequel to his 2017 hit “Call Me By Your Name”.

The actor “The Social Network” previously said in interviews that he is a “dominant boyfriend” who liked to “grab women by the neck and hair.” But he said that marriage to his now estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers, changed his sexual appetite. “It gets to a point where you say, ‘I respect you too much to do these things that I want to do,'” he said.

He later told E! News about the Playboy interview candidate, “Don’t drink during an interview”.
