Aries they found their new special teams coordinator because the team announced it was hired Joe DeCamillis. The veteran coach will be replaced John Bonamego, who moves on to the role of senior assistant coach.
DeCamillis brings 32 years of NFL coaching experience, including the past four years as the Jaguars special team coordinator. During his internship in Jacksonville, the team traditionally ranked in the top 10 in many special team categories, and in 2019, DeCamillis helped the pointer guide Logan Cooke and kicker Josh Lambo to become the first teammates to lead the NFL in the average net score and field goal percentage.
Before working with the Jaguars, the 55-year-old spent time as a special teams coordinator with the Broncos, Bears and Cowboys and also spent time on the Falcons and Giants coaching team.
Bonamego, 57, joined Rams in February last year. He spent the 2019 season as the Lions special teams coordinator and was head coach in central Michigan between the 2015 and 2018 seasons.

I’ve heard of hiring before Mike LaFleur as an offensive coordinator, Greg Knapp as a coach of defenders, John Benton as an offensive line coach and Rob Calabrese as a passing game specialist. ESPN’s Rich Cimini has gone through several names we can add to the list, including wide receiver coach miles Austin, back coach Taylor Embree, and head coach Ron Middleton. As Cimini notes, the staff does not have much experience, with Calabrese, Embree and Austin serving as NFL position coaches for the first time.

It’s a little interesting, as London has spent the last nine years coaching runners with Texans, bears and Penn State. However, the 45-year-old has experience as an offensive assistant / quality control coach with titans and bears.
- Mike Klis from 9News in Denver tweets that Broncos runner coach Curtis Modkins attracted interest “around the league as an offensive coordinator. The 50-year-old has consistently worked as an NFL coach behind the 2008 season, spending time with bosses, cardinals, bills, lions, 49ers and bears.
- Mike Tomlin interviewer Skein Fraley for Steelmakers OL coach concert, reports Gerry Dulac from Post-Gazette (via Twitter). In fact, Fraley began his NFL career in Pittsburgh because the Steelers signed him as a raw free agent in 2000.
