Indie star Ariel Pink was dropped from her record label after attending President Trump’s rally – even though she denied assaulting the Chapter, saying she went to take a nap.
The Mexican Summer label made the announcement on Friday, amid the backlash, after “Baby” boasted of Trump’s support at Wednesday’s rally in Washington, DC, which preceded the riots.
“Due to recent events, Mexican Summer and its employees have decided to end our working relationship with Ariel Rosenberg AKA Ariel Pink forward,” The New York record label posted on Twitter Friday.
The singer had openly anticipated an adverse reaction, even though he insisted that he slept when riots stormed the Chapter.
“I attended the rally on the lawn of the white house and returned to the hotel and took a nap. closed case, “he said wrote on Twitter on Thursday his support for the rally with fellow indie musician John Maus, insisting he was against “violent confrontation or riots.”

“He went to a rally for the sake of the gods,” one said the supporter replied to his former label, while others mentioned that he was not accused of anything illegal.
“If you give up on a great artist because you tell your mind, say more about your label than the artist,” wrote a fan.
“You distort an open mind, restrict free thinkers, and promote a culture that inhibits creativity.”
Others have even suggested that it is “Clearly illegal.”
“Are you shooting someone with different beliefs?” a commentator asked, suggesting that he had opened a “clear trial” for the Los Angeles singer.
