Pop singer Ariana Grande announced on Sunday that she is engaged to her boyfriend Dalton Gomez on Instagram. The 27-year-old shared a photo with a shiny diamond ring on her left finger with the caption “forever and then some”, along with a string of images of the couple.
Other celebrities shared congratulatory messages for the new engagement.
Kim Kardashian commented on the singer’s post saying: “Soooo happy for you guys !!! I love you !!!”
Hailey Bieber wrote: “YAYYYYYY !!!! so happy for you !!”
Scooter Braun, music executive who works with Grande, added: “Congratulations to these two amazing souls. We love you and we couldn’t be happier for you. Dalton, you’re a lucky man.”
The news of the couple’s engagement comes after almost a year of dating. The couple started their relationship on Instagram by sharing a photo of her hugging Gomez in June. Grande and Dalton also appeared together in a quarantined music video with Justin Bieber for their song, “Stuck With U”.
Gomez works as a buying agent for the luxury real estate company Aaron Kirman Group in Los Angeles, California. He was born and raised in Southern California and has been an industry veteran for five years, according to the company’s website.
Grande was previously engaged to “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson, but the two canceled their engagement in October 2018 after a whirlwind relationship of five months.
