We know Apple AirTags must definitely exist, because Credible rumors and leaks about them have been picked up in our news it feeds on what seems eternal. The last rumorhowever, it gives a glimmer of hope that we could see these things in our lives.

Conformable TechCrunch, Apple has launched a new Find the My Certification app in weekend. application allows third-party device or accessory manufacturers to test how their products work with the Find Me app. This follows in the footsteps of iOS 14.5 beta activating an “article” tab in the application and it leaks displaying a dollar-sized device that is supposed to cost $ 39. Fthe identification code in a beta version and iOS renderings are pretty good clues on their own that a company is working on something – but that doesn’t mean that these features or products will ever see the light of day. Maybe a developer forgot to delete something toointernal renderings may appear drastically different from the final product.

A more reliable indicator is when companies start opening things to third parties. That generally means anything is in development is nearing completion, and the time has come for third-party accessory manufacturers to break down. According to TechCrunch screenshots of the application, you can test things like connectivity, sound, firmware, key management, NFC and power.

Technically, Apple has said it will add third-party Find My support to WWDC 2020. Much of this is likely to come from Tile’s old experience. beef with Apple, in which the company claimed that Apple acts as a guardian to further its own interests. (In this case, the AirTags still to be seen.) In early January, there were rEPORTS that Tile was also working on the new ultra-widebandcompatible trackers. This is important because Apple has quietly hidden its U1 UWB chip in some of its newest products, including Apple Watch Series 6 and HomePod M.ini. Why do all this if you find my network it was not will it appear in the relatively near future?

But when?? When will we see these things ?! We know that it exists and that it is close to being achieved, because all the evidence indicates this direction. Almost a year ago, Apple did an oopsia as well leaked his own YouTube tutorial referring to Find My Network and AirTags. We’ve been talking about AirTags ever since at least 2019 and it’s now 2021. I can’t point out how many times the Gizmodo consumer technology team held their collective breath during the lawn of Apple’s events last fall, wondering if we’ll finally see the miserable things. At the end of February, rumors began to circulate that Apple will finally hold an event in March to display new iPads and – wait – AirTags.

As we all know, is now April. There are no AirTags yet, but a lot of AirTag rumors.

Again, third-party access is a much more encouraging sign, so there is good reason to hope that the long wait will end soon. But please, Apple, get us all out of our mess and release AirTags! Free us from this purgatory of products! After all, we still have years of AR headphones and rumors about the Apple Car. Sigh.
