Apple is starting to sell the refurbished 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 chip

Apple today began selling refurbished 13-inch MacBook Pro certified models with the M1 chip in the United States and Canada for the first time since the notebook’s launch in November 2020. As usual, refurbished models are down about 15% compared to to equivalent new models.

The refurbished Apple online store has the basic 13-inch MacBook Pro, with the M1 chip available for $ 1,099 in the United States, for example, compared to Apple’s regular price of $ 1,299 for this model. This configuration includes the 8-core M1 chip, with 8 GB of unified memory and 256 GB of SSD storage in silver or space gray.

Apple says the refurbished MacBook Pro models are inspected, tested, cleaned and repackaged with a USB-C power adapter and USB-C cable in the box. In our opinion, a refurbished MacBook Pro is practically indistinguishable from a new model, so this is a good opportunity for savings. However, keep in mind that third-party resellers can offer better deals over time, so make sure you monitor the summary of our offers.

Apple refurbished Macs are covered by a one-year limited warranty and have a 14-day return policy. AppleCare + coverage can also be purchased.
